23 Coping Skills for Single Men

Have you ever sat under a tent for a long period of time and had to wait. During that time you watch the people walk by and ask yourself: "What am I doing here?" This moment is the beginning of when stress walks in the door.  Your second guessing the decision you made. Here are some coping skills for getting you through your decision.

1. Books or Newspaper reading.
2. Don't use your cell phone interact with others around you.
3. Listen to music on a devices. Take a break from technology.
4. Learn to play a new musical instrument.
5. Do word searches or crossword puzzles.
6. Learn a new sport.
7. Walk away from isolation.
8. Learn or join a class of something that is meaningless and see if you could pick up a hobby.
9. Get off the coach and take a walk, bike ride, or a solo sport.
10. Take a dance class.
11. Visit a local venue that is offering a music listening session.
12. Talk with a friend.
13. Create a man's night where you and your friends do something other than getting together to drink alcohol.
15. Sports night.
16. Video night.
17.  Take a drive and see the view.
18. Ask a friend to dinner.
19. Take a singles cooking class.
20. Go to the movies.
21. Take a drawing class.
22. Take a writing class
23. Read the bible.
